Wine & Food – that is what Italy is famous for (too)!
On our tours we always include the best possible food experiences, and always let you taste the many local specialties (there is no such a thing as the ‘Italian Kitchen’). And of course it’s always possible to drink good wine, and often we pass through nice wine estates and do a tasting.
But if you have a real intest in wine, we can organise a special experience for you. What about some great walking through the beautiful vineyards & surrounding landscapes to understand the ‘terroir‘? Followed by a tasting of the best regional wines with the experts and producers themselves? Let them tell you everything about the Aglianico, Fiano, Falanghina, Montepulciano, Inzolia, Sciacchetrà…. and all those grape varieties you can only find in Italy.

Please note: there are many different regions in Italy which produce very good wines. We have selected a few of the iconic regions where both the walking, as well as the wines are great. For the moment these regions include the Abruzzo, the Amalfi Coast & the Cilento National Park and the Cinque Terre & Liguria, some of the iconic hiking destinations, where it is great to alternate some good food & wine, with a few nice walks through the pleasant countryside.
On request it is possible to organise bespoke wine adventures in different regions.
